Sammy's Designer Flooring is a distinguished flooring store. For over 25 years, they have connected customers across Western Canada with the best flooring options from around the world.
Sammy’s Designer Flooring came to us looking for a more structured approach to their site. With hundreds of options across several types of flooring, organization is key to guiding customers through their shopping experience.
This led a design process focused on simplicity. Starting with the menu, we began by reducing the options to enable intuitive navigation between the main flooring options and site functions. This compliments the large images used throughout the site to give inspiration to customers.
Once a flooring type is selected, a filter panel appears for customers to narrow down their options based on accessible language, such as material type or size.
Inside specific tile options, structured information communicates the flooring’s origin, dimensions, and application to customers. This goes one step further for variations within a flooring group, which shows the different options for colours and shapes.
As customers sort through a variety of options, the Wishlist function makes it easy for them to highlight favourites. These favourites can then be emailed for later reference or incorporated into a quote request.
We enjoyed collaborating with the Sammy’s Designer Flooring team on this unique project. By creating a bespoke yet organized site to highlight their quality offerings, this has resulted in increased sales and ease of use for all customers.
