Websites and online stores built
SplitMango builds brand sites on Statamic and custom online stores on Shopify, whichever your business needs to grow.
Statamic for your story.
Shopify for your sales.
Built by one team.
Trusted by food and beverage brands who need their site to work as hard as their product does.
Your brand deserves better than a template.
Food and beverage businesses usually need one of two things done well: a brand site that tells your story and supports wholesale or distribution relationships, or a store that sells product directly to customers without friction. Sometimes both. Generic templates and off-the-shelf themes tend to flatten what makes a food or beverage brand distinct, the craft, the ingredients, the story behind the product, into the same layout every competitor is using.
The platform matters too. A store built on the wrong foundation slows down at checkout, right when a customer is ready to buy. A content site that can't be updated easily means your team is stuck waiting on a developer every time a new product or seasonal offering launches.
Two platforms, whichever fits your business
For selling direct to consumers: Shopify
We've been Shopify Partners since 2010, building custom stores that handle checkout, payments, and promotions without the friction that costs you sales at the worst possible moment. Shopify's Liquid templating lets us build a store that looks and feels like your brand, not a theme with your logo dropped in.
For brand, story, and wholesale presence: Statamic.
We're Canada's first official Statamic Partner. Statamic gives your team a fast, secure site your team can actually update, new products, seasonal stories, distributor information, without a developer on standby for every change.
Not sure which you need? That's a normal question
Some brands need a store. Some need a content site that supports wholesale buyers and retail partners rather than selling direct. Some need both, connected cleanly. We'll help you figure out which is which before we start building anything.

Questions we hear from brands like yours
Do we need Shopify or Statamic?
It depends on how you sell. If customers buy directly from your site, Shopify is almost always the right foundation. If your site is more about brand, story, and supporting wholesale or retail partners rather than direct checkout, Statamic tends to be the better fit. We'll help you sort this out in a short conversation if you're not sure.
Can you migrate our existing store or site to a new platform?
Yes. We handle migrations to both Shopify and Statamic, including moving product data, content, and SEO carefully so you don't lose ground during the switch.
Can our online store and our brand site work together if we need both?
Yes. We've built setups where a Statamic-driven brand site and a Shopify store operate together, sharing a consistent look and feel even though they run on different platforms underneath.
We're a small team without a lot of technical experience. Will we be able to manage this ourselves?
Both platforms are built with that in mind. Shopify's dashboard is designed for non-technical store owners, and Statamic's control panel gives your team the same ease for content. We'll make sure you're comfortable with whichever platform we build on before we hand it over.
Do you work with smaller, founder-run food and beverage brands, or only larger companies?
Both. Our client list spans small-batch, founder-run brands through established cooperatives. We scope every project around the size and stage of your business.
