10 years after advertising school, there is a fairly limited amount of work and influence, that stays with me. At the time I was interested in below line campaigns that stood out and got noticed. There was an Amnesty International Campaign which featured children on the steps of an escalator, the children would disappear in front of you as you rode the escalator up (sorry can’t find an image). The reason this campaign stuck with me was not only the disturbing facts about how often children disappear, but the simplicity of the idea that so clearly illustrated the sad truth.
I have come across a selection of more current posters with similarly clever execution, that have I feel real impact on the viewer.
